Airehead Posted August 30, 2020 Share #2 Posted August 30, 2020 Cinnamon swirl French toast with maple butter for Einstein. yellow watermelon for me. plain French toast for the Airedales who are now on my shit list. Crazy this morning and cam barreling into the house jumping everywhere. Knocked over my cough and broke the handle on my favorite mug which coincidentally had an Airedale theme. 1 2

Longjohn ★ Posted August 30, 2020 Share #10 Posted August 30, 2020 Coffee and watermelon during online church. Made my wife her usual dippy egg and toast. Just finished a bowl of bran flakes, yogurt, and fresh blueberries with raw honey. Just saw some Amish taking a shortcut across the back of my property. They must be having church over the hill today. 1
Johnny Come Lately Name Posted August 30, 2020 Share #11 Posted August 30, 2020 I got out the beeping machine. (It didn’t take the dog long to learn that when the waffle iron beeps, sometimes a frisbee comes his way). Then I got out my last, precious half pint of syrup. (Because I was a lazy bastard this winter and didn’t make any). And it was moldy.

Did you take a tricorder reading? At least the syrup you can re-boil and run it through a filter - but I lost a little in the process.

BuffJim Posted August 30, 2020 Share #16 Posted August 30, 2020 Had breakfast at the Cooperstown Diner. Two eggs over medium and corned beef hash. Two cups of diner coffee. BuffCarla stayed in the room and ate Cocoa Puffs n milk, with hotel coffee, which was even worse than diner coffee.

shootingstar Posted August 31, 2020 Share #18 Posted August 31, 2020 1 hour ago, Airehead said: The compote sounds delicious Very easy to make, heat up less than 1 inch of water and throw in grated/minced ginger root, crushes aniseed .. then in about 3 min. throw in small cubed/cut up fruit, add cinnamon and honey. Let it boil and turn down to simmer for about 20 min. or 1/2 hr. Voila.. !
