MoseySusan Posted December 14, 2020 Share #1 Posted December 14, 2020 Shrink the SW site tab to a fraction of full screen. The bulbs will disappear. The snow remains. Freely navigate to the URL space, click tabs, refresh the page... And after you restore it to full screen, there is still a part without bulbs. You could run the Humbug theme, but then the snow disappears, too. I like the snow. It reminds me of better days. 2

Dirtyhip Posted December 15, 2020 Share #6 Posted December 15, 2020 My husband has finally realized not to ask me if everything is ok, when he hears glass shatter from the other room. He used to ask. Now, he knows it is this wacky site.

maddmaxx ★ Posted December 15, 2020 Share #9 Posted December 15, 2020 Bulb challenge. Without using a straight edge to guide your mouse, how fast can you break an entire row of bulbs without missing one.

jdc2000 Posted December 15, 2020 Share #13 Posted December 15, 2020 The method I use is to have the browser window slightly smaller that full screen (not maximized). Then you can just move the pointer around them over the top.
sheep_herder ★ Posted December 15, 2020 Share #14 Posted December 15, 2020 Some how, on my Mac, there is no noise, and that is just fine with me. If I feel the urge to break them, I know it is time to take a break and maybe a nap.

The simplest solution is to turn on the mute function.

That solves the sound problem, but not the terror of sacrificing bulbs to an unstoppable inner mania. Sometimes I like a rest from the carnage. It’s a little game within a game.
