BuffJim Posted October 15, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 15, 2016 BuffCarla seems to think that soap is evil, and that all 21st century types should use body wash instead? Which one of us is right.

Longjohn ★ Posted October 15, 2016 Share #5 Posted October 15, 2016 Body wash has the advantage that it can be shared with other people that you might not want to share a bar of soap with. At work they provided industrial body wash in the showers. In that situation body wash is better. At home I don't care. The fitness center provides body wash as well. Rumble_Strip ★ Posted October 15, 2016 Share #6 Posted October 15, 2016 I use body wash. When I use bar soap, it brings back memories of having to eat soap when I talked back growing up. I can still taste the soap when I use the bar.

Longjohn ★ Posted October 15, 2016 Share #10 Posted October 15, 2016 One guy at work had a bottle of body wash/shampoo/douche. We had a good laugh at that.

Popular Post Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted October 16, 2016 Popular Post Share #20 Posted October 16, 2016 Some of might remember the Ivory soap slogan 'So pure it floats!' Well, the soap floated because Proctor and Gamble mixed air into the soap to make it less dense so it would indeed float. So when you bought Ivory, you bought a bunch of air. Now just imagine if you took the same ingredients for Ivory soap, but instead of injecting air you mixed in some extra water. Lots of water. You'd never get it into a bar form at all. In fact, the soap would be so watery you'd have to put it into a bottle. Seems like a silly idea, taking an ordinary bar of soap and watering it so far down like that. Unless, of course, you put it in colorful bottle, and put a dash of perfume or cologne in it. But you'd have to call it something other than 'watered down soap', because nobody would buy that. You'd sell a bunch of it though, if you gave it a clever name like... 'body wash'.
