Took a day off just for me. Surprised myself by just deciding that I cannot do it today. I went back to bed and woke up just a bit ago. Now I am going to nap.

Can you move somewhere sunny and warm?  I'm thinking SoCal and you'll have no reason to say screw it since you'll always be itching to get outside and play!

i can't wait to watch the Discovery Channel special on moving Airedale Estates cross-country!

You clearly needed a good rest, Aire.  I hope it's just a case of being tired, but pay attention for any other possible symptoms.

I sometimes do that, too, but after 14 years of retirement, I still feel a little don't-waste-the-day guilty if I sleep past 9 am - I used to get up at 5:30 - 6 am when working.  So I get up, eat breakfast, watch TV, check the stock futures before the opening bell and read or watch news.  Then my busy day continues with BBC situation comedies (the D.C. PBS station, WETA, has a "WETA UK" channel), something from one of the Star Trek's, a rerun of Mom, and some military history story of interest followed by checking my Google Sheets spreadsheet to see how my stocks are doing.

When we started working from home, I woke up at 5:00 am ...because my body was wired still as if cycling to work later.

That was Mar.  Now I roll out of bed around 6:30 am.  I start work as usual at 7:30 am as I always have for past decade. Just before that I would have finished my bowl of cornflakes in my shorts. On weekends, I usually get at latest by 8:00 am.  I'm the sort of person that likes to go cycling shortly after that on weekends.  Now dearie, doesn't go cycling until afternoons...which I don't like.  So I just might go for an early short spin.  I need to feel invigorated.
