jsharr ★ Posted March 20 Share #4 Posted March 20 No winter weather advisories in effect in Dallas, but we may get hail today, so there is that.

Razors Edge ★ Posted March 20 Share #8 Posted March 20 We went from two weeks of GLORIOUS "spring" weather (and I was sick with a cold/flu/COVID) to a 20-30oF drop to cold and windy! We might claw back to 60o soon, but this weather currently sucks relative to what it was a week ago.
Kirby Posted March 20 Share #9 Posted March 20 Soon it will be warm sunny weather and everyone will be pressured to be outside and be productive. Enjoy the excuse to hibernate and relax while you have it. 1 1
Longjohn ★ Posted March 20 Share #10 Posted March 20 This spring seems pretty normal to me. At least half the time my forsythia blossoms get frozen and fall off. Grapes and apples are also often frozen and have years they don’t produce fruit.
maddmaxx ★ Posted March 20 Share #11 Posted March 20 Don't let climate change enter into the picture of future extreme weather. It will just depress you. Warmer atmospheres hold more water. Wetter air brings more storms. Get used to it.
shootingstar Posted March 20 Share #12 Posted March 20 Here in Alberta...it is snowing for past few hrs. and more...for next few days. We desperately need moisture. River beds are low or dried up, farmers worried, govn't ramping up wildfire fighting team forces. Even with this snow dump, our city is predicting rationing water for outdoor use in May. The Canadians have pushed another bunch of arctic air down into our space again.

smudge ★ Posted March 20 Share #17 Posted March 20 We didn't get any snow today, but the hearty wind with a 25° temp was a bugger. And the furnace free interior of Taco Bell this afternoon was another bugger!!

The motto is it's Wyoming, deal with it.
