Do you have a favorite pasta shape?

Sure spaghetti is a classic and lasagna noodles are important for lasagna, but do you have a favorite pasta shape for when you're just having pasta or mixing it in some recipe where you can choose among shapes?  Farfalle looks fancy like it's all dressed up for the night, and orichiette is good at holding lots of sauce in its little shell shapes.  Rotini is also good at  holding sauce in its curves and Wagon Wheel (ruote) is just fun.  And we all know Fusilli is a crazy bas*ard

But how about you?  What pasta shapes do you tend to use?

No love for orzo?  It makes a great summer pasta salad.  Orzo with Italian dressing, cherry tomatoes, blanched asparagus and cucumber then add you favorite herbs and spices. You’ve got a cool salad you can have for a side or a main course on a warm summer day.

My local grocery store sells a wonderful Chicken Orzo soup and there is always the wonderful Lemon Chicken Soup made with orzo too.

Thin spaghetti for general purpose. Regular for spaghetti and meatballs or chili Mac. Cannelloni is really good for stuffed tubes in a casserole style; tomato sauce with a beschamel dressing. Ziti for casserole dishes. Sometimes I like to mix pasta, farfalle and rotini are good together in a pasta salad.

I find orzo a bit too small.
