Popular Post airinpie Posted June 11, 2017 Author Popular Post Share #4 Posted June 11, 2017 The girl I bought this from was SUPER nice and helpful. She works at a local bike shop in Knoxville. It's last years model, and it's brand new. She said 115 miles. It's pristine. I'm so excited!

MickinMD ★ Posted June 11, 2017 Share #6 Posted June 11, 2017 Looks great. The 115 miles should have been just enough to get the squeak out of the disc brakes!
Digital_photog ★ Posted June 11, 2017 Share #7 Posted June 11, 2017 That doesn't look like a walmart bike. Have fun with it. You can use it on the next "Great Adventure".

I think that should be X7, drivetrain. Yes and yes! Its the Fuse Comp 6Fattie. 2016. Owned by a girl that works at a bike shop and it's literally immaculate. She bought a FS and only rode it 115 miles. Upgrades from my current bike include: 110mm of travel, disc brakes, dropper post, 1x drivetrain, 27.5 wheels. It's like riding a monster truck!

If she hasn't done it already the first upgrade I would do is set it up tubeless.

She gave me a baggie with the owners manual and valve stems. Said it was tubeless ready, but she hadn't done it yet. Im gonna need new pedals soon. They're just plastic platforms. airinpie Posted June 12, 2017 Author Share #21 Posted June 12, 2017 So how do I take care of this thing? I've never had an air shock or disc brakes. Is there a guide somewhere so I don't screw it up?

Z said he used brake fluid to get rid of squeaks. You didn't contradict. Isn't he really meaning to say brake cleaner? I'm not aware of any brake fluid that would be good for cleaning braking surfaces.

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted June 12, 2017 Share #28 Posted June 12, 2017 Z was making a funny. He weren't serious. the air shock needs a shock pump to inflate the psi based on your weight. There are charts and such on the inter webs on what the psi should be. Google your shock model to find the correct chart. (I think. I'm a roadie wtf do I know.) I loved on three of my bikes yesterday and cleaned my rotors with alcohol wipes.
