Every day was in the 90s and in the pits in between the motorhomes and race trailers it was over 100. Wo46 is going to kill me for showing you this but just look at her face thinking about putting on her leathers in this heat. Two days of practice went good except for the flat tire. Friday practice turned out to be a all out race between for of us. We were having so much fun we didn't want to stop. Saturday's race went good. We finished I think we got 10 out of 16 sidecars. Saturday night was a blast. Someone had a tub with a boat motor in it making Margaritas for 150 people at a time. 10 pit spots over a someone was making tacos for anyone who wanted one. We were passing each other 4 to 5 times a lap until I got to meet Bernard Jucli (Jay Leno's garage manager) he was racing F-1 and I'm racing p-2 class. Even though driffernt class we are on the track at the same time. Well we both went for the same spot on the track we hit each other hard. I have some of his paint on my boot and some fiberglass bodywork stuck in my sidecar. Wo46 never skipped a beat even though his fender missed her head by inches we kept racing. After the race Bernard came over to apologize (it was his fault). I just had a bent brake lever and kneeler. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A waterfall that you can only see on the race track. I thought about asking for a private tour of Jay Leno's garage but Bernard was a little bit of a ass hole about it.
