Popular Post goldendesign Posted October 17, 2018 Popular Post Share #1 Posted October 17, 2018 Not a bad experience. Only about three minutes in the machine. I was in two weeks ago and had the mask made that bolts me in place. That was as unpleasant as before, and going forward I can only assume. Since it's the head/neck area they said expect the discomfort of radiation toxicity to happen a little sooner than other RT in other areas of the body. So mid to end of week two should start the saliva glands stringy, sore throat, skin burns, and hair loss. Weirdly they mentioned, though never before had they, that I might have muscle or nerve spasms in the target area almost immediately. Don't know if it was because they said it could happen or not but my fricken neck gave a few grand Mal seizes for just a split second then released. Only on one side. Weird feeling

Longjohn ★ Posted October 17, 2018 Share #8 Posted October 17, 2018 If your mask is as cool as the ones I saw in Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago it will make a nice souvenir. Praying all goes well.

Doctors (and their lawyers) love to ;pull that shit! When I went to the oral sturgeon to have my wisdom teeth removed, I just abot had a cow reading all the possible bad outcomes. No mention of them before that, when I actually had a choice, What are you gonna do when you are in the darn chair already?
