I am one of those dark skinned Scottish types whose wife says I look very ethnic in summer. I tolerate the cold but certainly don't embrace it. I also love the heat. On the other hand, I was offered a job out of grad school at IIT in Chicago in chemistry research by Sherwin Williams and turned it down because I as tired of the very cold winters.
