What is in your fridge

A disorganized mess. I've been mostly tossing stuff in without much of a plan since I moved in on March 10. The bottom drawers have potatoes, sweet onions, tomatoes, red bell peppers, iceberg lettuce, and pears. The upper drawer is mostly cheese and bacon.  Hiding in there is 24 oz of cottage cheese. 16 oz. of sour cream, and 13 oz. of smoked turkey kielbasa that, this coming week probably, will be mixed in with fried onions and cooked extra-wide egg noodles to make "Poor Man's Pierogis" with kielbasa.

Told my wife I needed to post a picture of our cluttered fridge.

She threatened me "Don't you dare! I'll turn on the Hallmark Channel if you do!"

Tell her I said that is classic.

I am funny about my fridge. Like it to be neat and I move stuff if Mr. Aire puts it away wrong.

Aire, your fridge is lovely.
mine is a mess and getting low.
Lots of reused plastic and glass containers. The flour bag is actually chicken, the Adams jars are my go to storage jars. Nice wide mouth? Durable.

getting low on veg. Have broccoli, carrots and cauliflower left.

Holy Organized Batman!!  That is probably the neatest fridge ever.

If you ever tell my wife I took a pic of her fridge...., well just don't tell her please.

Our fridge is full.  We always keep a stocked fridge.  I dont know why, we just do.

@Dirtyhip, am I supposed to keep aminos in the fridge?

No.  I do.  I keep vinegar in there too.  I am weird.  I just want things to be fresh and keep well.  I don't keep my olive oil in there, or avacado oil.  I go through it really fast.

My fridge seals look filthy.  I should work on that with a tooth brush.

I spy sourdough starter.

I had a bag of lemons and squeezed them all out today, and grated the zest to reserve it for other foods and soap.  I am going to make some bar soap with lemon zest in it.  Likely a bergamot scented soap.

Mine is a mess.  Bottles and cans of seltzer, two pitchers of iced tea, two cartons of almond milk, a stack of prepared meals from the local grocery store and some slices of pizza.  I still have some of the mini cupcakes from work.  And an absurd amount of currant jelly that I didn't eat but can't ring myself to throw out because my Mom made it.   And a bottle of two of wine in the back.

And a bunch of cheddar cheese, lots of butter, some apples, slices of American cheese and mozzarella.

I've no idea what's in my fridge but I know my medical stores are fine and that I have a good amount of Gin and Tonic. The Tonic contains quinine, and I need this to deal with my cramps.......not that it works...... but the Gin helps with the disappointment.

One of the advantages of shelter in place is a number of bored people who are taking on tasks like checking the fridge for expired stuff and unnecessary things.  My fridge is probably as clean and empty as it has ever been this century.

Anybody want some strawberry jam dated 2015?
