Technically you’re not wrong, there is a bridge. It’s a big one, five miles long. The mitten dwellers have to cross the Mac and then the ferry to get to the island. The yoopers just take the ferry. Kirby Posted July 31, 2020 Share #21 Posted July 31, 2020 Another happy place, the Catskills. Memories of childhood summers spent riding bikes, taking walks, swimming at the lake, exploring streams and hanging out on the porch reading. or playing cards Time spent with the family including my grandmother who would come with us (and who was a wonderful baker!) 2

Popular Post Square Wheels Posted July 31, 2020 Popular Post Share #23 Posted July 31, 2020 I had already finished; the wife was a fair bit behind me. I went back down with to finish with her. She says this was her last time doing it. This is the 20+% part, obviously it's at the very end. Me, the wife, and a few friends. I usually talk 10 or 20 other people into doing it with me. 4

Popular Post team scooter Posted July 31, 2020 Popular Post Share #27 Posted July 31, 2020 My favorite home away from home is just over the border in the UP of Michigan. Its where I need to go to clear my head. The smell of the pines or a campfire. Even the food tastes better. I've been known to just sit on that lake shore for hours. Sadly family/friends have moved on to more exciting places they'd prefer to go these days. But thats OK. I've just learned when they plan their Disney or cruise trips, Maggie and I make reservations UP North. She even remembers which cabin we always stay in and leads the way. 5 2

OR and WA really lack comfortable swimming conditions. Still, a walk along any Pacific beach is still a great time.

Says the guy who swam in those damn Unheated pools in VA! 😁 The water temp stays between the low 50’s to mid 60’s year round, yeah kinda chilly. I dipped my feet in the water the other day and it was surprisingly warm.’probably low 70’s.

There have been a total of 45 COVID-19 cases and 0 deaths in the entire Garrett County there. The Resort is open.
