So hard to read this.  When will you know if it's metastasized?

Thursday we think.

The dog rescue has had to amputate quite a few legs and every single dog has adapted and thrived.

I will be praying for Ryan and his humans.

This is what I am hearing and better if a back leg.

I am so sorry to hear this, but it definitely sounds like you are making the right decision.  I gave chemo treatments to my second cat.  They started out to help with some symptoms and improve her quality of life, but after the fact I realized they went on too long and didn't help her quality of life.  I fear I wasn't ready to say good bye.  This is heart breaking, but I admire your commitment to doing what is best for Ryan.
