Mr. Silly Posted September 9, 2020 Share #1 Posted September 9, 2020 The movies that come to mind that are enjoyed by everyone are Mary Poppins, Princess Bride and the Shrek series. Anyone who has a negative opinion of those films are objectively wrong. Can you think of others that would go on that list?

12string Posted September 9, 2020 Share #7 Posted September 9, 2020 It's a Wonderful Life. Aurthur. The original. You'll have a line to use for anything that come up in life. Mary Poppins is awful, especially if you have seen the stage version or read the book. Disneyfication at it's worst

One of my "celebrity" airport sightings. Years ago, flying out of BWI, he was standing next to us at the ticket counter. Very distinct looking and sounding. Seemed "normal" otherwise. Anyone who has a negative opinion of those films are objectively wrong. Can you think of others that would go on that list? I am definitely objectively wrong. The first Mary Poppins was a good idea, but execution was mixed, and the fanstasy elements killed all the momentum. The latest MP was a piece of crap top to bottom. I also thought Shrek was so-so. All of those are better than Sound of Music, though, I hate that movie. Toy Story was only ok, too.
