Randomguy Posted November 2, 2022 Share #1 Posted November 2, 2022 Yay or nay? They are expensive, and they go bad quickly. They are tasty in a way, though, and I am sure there are supposed to be hippie health benefits associated with them.
Ralphie ★ Posted November 2, 2022 Share #2 Posted November 2, 2022 Sometimes they are very cheap at the cheap veggie place, and I have had good luck with them holding up for weeks sometimes. They usually last way longer than strawberries. Very tasty. Thumbs up.

Popular Post TrentonMakes Posted November 2, 2022 Popular Post Share #4 Posted November 2, 2022 Growing up, our elderly neighbor had a patch of raspberry plants. In the winter, my dad would plow out her driveway for her (it adjoined ours near the road), and every summer we got a few quarts of fresh raspberries in return... the barter system at work. Those berries were amazing. 3

But I'd just as soon buy blueberries - they last a long time in the fridge.

Dirtyhip Posted November 3, 2022 Share #8 Posted November 3, 2022 I love them. Sometimes, they do them on the salads I get. Great deal. We planted some, but it is only for a limited time of harvest.

Longjohn ★ Posted November 3, 2022 Share #11 Posted November 3, 2022 I buy the frozen ones when they are at a good price. Sometimes they are cheaper than blueberries. I put them on my cereal.
Solution BuffJim Posted November 3, 2022 Solution Share #12 Posted November 3, 2022 You’re daft if you buy fresh ones this time of year. In the summer they’re OK, but nothing beats the ones in Captain Crunch with Crunchberries. 2

Kirby Posted May 16, 2023 Share #28 Posted May 16, 2023 I was about to post that I like the flavor but find the seeds annoying, and mention that I just made a pitcher of raspberry iced tea yesterday - until i realized this was a dragged thread and that I had posted almost the exact same thing previously. At least I'm consistent. 1

Mulch with compost every year, weed it, and pull some out that get too thick. Berries choke themselves out and get exhausted if you ignore them, just pick and water. dinneR ★ Posted May 16, 2023 Share #36 Posted May 16, 2023 Berries are good brain food. Just like the scientists pushing massive water consumption, you should eat 1/2 cup of blueberries every day.
