Not so much. They were visible an hour north of here earlier this year. This NOAA site might show us if there’s a chance of seeing them this weekend.

Slept in this morning...no sunrise balloon trip today 

Not sure of all the shenanigans on today's agenda..but the Mosey's are making it fun..last night until I suddenly faded...son of Mosey and were watching Harry Potter..in Spanish. Thank God for subtitles

Have come to the conclusion that time travels ... faster.  Only we can capture and remember essence of moments we treasure. Yesterday for exercise.  Will be off bike for a few days.

More than ever, the last few days has been like past, present and near future fused into 1.  Some tears because of dearie...which it would have been him I would have retired 2 yrs. earlier.

Have stuffed a small empty bike pannier into luggage, so that I can have it in Toronto and then leave it behind with sis.  It is where my old bike that I rode for 14 yrs. in Toronto.  I gave it away forever there. So there is a bike for me to use whenever I visited family whom I haven't seen for a yr.  Niece when she was shorter, did ride it. Now she's around 5'9".

To be fair, I have no influence on the elevation. I live at 5600. Cuba is at 6800. Chaco is 6200. Cerillos is 5700. This is just how it is in the high desert southwest.

Does anyone who visits you get altitude sickness? 

Years ago when we stayed in Telluride's mountain village about 9500 for hiking in June.  We had headaches for most of the time we were there.

You don’t really feel the altitude under 6K feet just walking around & such. Go on a run or walk up stairs and you’re  like huh, why am I breathing hard?!?!  9K and above you feel it just walking around and altitude sickness can get you.

The Mammoth Fondo started at 10K’ which is why we spent a week fishing first.

Batteries on my 11 year old camera are lousy..may have to invest in something better..Thank God for cell phones

11 year old rechargeable batteries (assuming that's what you have) probably don't hold a charge very long.   New rechargeable batteries would bring the camera back to life.  That's assuming they still exist to buy.

And the joy of this aventura has been the conversation and becoming known to each other. We in this Cafe have a gift in these two women, called shootie and petite, but so much more than their username diminution. There is much to cherish about this trip.

So we are now at the high class resort/spa..they have lousy signage..no sign for a river walk..signs for no cell phone and no alcohol..but nothing that says no food..spent $4 for a stroopwaffle..to munch on..wating for our 3pm check in..got told no food...I countered with the sign says no alcohol and no cell phones..she stood next to another sign..and yeah No Food was not posted.."its suggested"
