AirwickWithCheese Posted July 5, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted July 5, 2021 I have always preferred crinkle french fries with my hot dogs over chips. Most civilized humans would agree. 3

Yes, you were very, very wrong yesterday so get 2 specials to make it right. I am heading to Tanners Big Orange to continue celebrating living in the greatest country. Hot dogs, crinkle fries, watermelon, strawberry ice cream.
MoseySusan Posted July 5, 2021 Share #5 Posted July 5, 2021 My older brother eats things he hunts and grows himself. He calls hot dogs “ass dogs” because they’re made of leftover parts of the animals. Sure. But they’re organic, grass-fed ass. TYVM

We used to have a place in town called Chicago Dog who served up Vienna Beef dogs, but they closed up quite a few years ago. I talked with a guy who works at Lindy’s here about their “Chicago Dog” on the menu, and he said don’t order it. It’s not the real thing, and he’s been trying to get the owner to take it off the menu. He also said it’s too costly to ship the authentic ingredients to ABQ; you’d end up paying $7, and nobody’s going to pay that much. But we probably would. It seems like we paid about that much at the place that closed. With a side of fries. 1
BuffJim Posted July 5, 2021 Share #9 Posted July 5, 2021 Sahlen’s. Is there another kind? About 15 years ago I had a guy try to tell me Sabrette’s were the best hotdogs. Stunning ignorance. 1
ChrisL Posted July 5, 2021 Share #10 Posted July 5, 2021 Too many years of snack bar duty, I have a hard time eating hot dogs. But yesterday I did cut one dog up (most likely chicken or turkey) and ate it with a small scoop of pork & beans. It was good but not good for me! 1
