Wilbur ★ Posted November 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 21, 2017 ..I go through a country music phase. I don't know why, I guess I just find some comfort there. Post your favourite country tune.. 1
Kirby Posted November 21, 2017 Share #2 Posted November 21, 2017 You can't go wrong with classics like Willie, Johnny Cash or even George Strait. People who've had careers that last for decades usually have talent, even if they're not always to your taste.

MickinMD ★ Posted November 21, 2017 Share #11 Posted November 21, 2017 For a while, Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, and Emmy Lou Harris did a few albums singing together. This video is from the Dolly Parton Show in 1975, with Linda singing the lead and Emmy Lou singing backup. Linda and Emmy Lou go way back to when Linda was near the beginning of her first recording contract and toured with Neil Young and Graham Parsons' "Burrito Brothers" band. Emmy Lou was Parsons' girlfriend. When Parsons -who was a major figure in blending country and rock/blues music- died in 1973 (only 26, but years of drug and alcohol abuse), Linda called Emmy Lou to offer condolences and the conversation turned to singing together. Dolly Parton was soon added.
maddmaxx ★ Posted November 21, 2017 Share #12 Posted November 21, 2017 Perhaps it's a bit too country for many but it's a form of ballad with a story.

team scooter Posted November 21, 2017 Share #15 Posted November 21, 2017 It depends what day of the week as to what type music I'm listening. However most of the today's repetitive new music has little appeal to me. PS, Back in the day, Garth WAS his own music genre.

If it's just a simple YouTube or Vimeo, paste the link and it's automatic. For others, you'll need to upload it.
