Kzoo Posted February 16 Share #2 Posted February 16 Yes. This is my EDC. It has a 1.5-inch blade. It takes up very little real estate when clipped top by front pocket. I have another knife I carry in the evening and on weekends (my work knife) and I have a backup EDC with a 3.5-inch blade if I want to carry a little bigger. I also have my dad's Swiss Army knife in the car and I have utility knives in every toolbox and at every workbench. I'm never more than a couple feet from a knife - even while sleeping. jsharr ★ Posted February 16 Share #4 Posted February 16 Yes, I have two or three in my rotation. CJRB Feldspar I seldom wear it on my belt, but this thing is a work of art Beretta EDC Bird/Fish knife with warthog tusk handle
Parr8hed Posted February 16 Share #5 Posted February 16 Yes, big fan of the CRKT. I have multiples. I usually don't have it in my scrubs at work but always have one outside of work.
Mr. Silly Posted February 16 Share #6 Posted February 16 I used to carry a Swish Army knife. I think it had a two inch blade. I stopped carrying it after 9/11 and metal detectors started popping up all over the place. They come in handy.

jsharr ★ Posted February 16 Share #9 Posted February 16 I also have this CRKT Hammond but it is really just too big and bulky for EDC. I also only carry fine edge knives. Not a fan for partially serrated or serrated.

shootingstar Posted February 16 Share #17 Posted February 16 Don't ask me what a bunch of women who don't know each other, talk about. I'm not sure. I have not been around a large group of women strangers for several decades. My social circles probably are more 1 to 1 most of the time. For sure, with women cyclists, we will look at each other's bikes and ask casually on something related to one another's cycling. I certainly have. And now have 2 good friends.

shootingstar Posted February 16 Share #22 Posted February 16 Hmmm...I believe dearie carried an old simple jack knife but it tended with to be with his cycling tools, tire levers, etc. in his bag, which made alot more sense to me. So when walking around and not cycling for a short walk, he didn't carry the jack knife.

It seems my sisters like to talk shit about anyone who isn’t there and if you are a male it doesn’t matter if you are there or not… They’ll talk mad shit to your face and get hostile if you say anything back… 1

I think you're sisters are venting. I don't think all women are like that. With my sisters, it does tend to be direct and honest with one another. Then move on to other stuff. Longjohn ★ Posted February 16 Share #30 Posted February 16 I carried a Leatherman every day at work. Used it multiple times each day for cutting water lines, tightening hose clamps, punching holes. When I retired I threw it in my bike bag. I don’t think I have used it since.

sheep_herder ★ Posted February 17 Share #38 Posted February 17 Heck, I even had to use one to cut part of the jeans leg off one time when I had a pile of treated lumber shift in the rain and catch my pants leg. luckily that was all it caught. I was unloading a truck by myself, and most folks had gone for the day. It would have been a long, cold, and wet wait in the mountains of Colorado without my knife. 1
